The dash I installed is NOT a replacement dash. It is an original Porsche dash removed from another 911 of an unknown year. Fits perfectly, except the location of the farthest outward mounting stud on the passenger side did not line up with the hole on the metal dash frame. I had to drill a new hole (on the other side of the rectangular access hole in the metal dash frame) towards passengers door.

Your second picture shows clearly a modern production replacement dash. Can´t follow this discussion any longer.

I think you should remove the pic of the dash you did not use and leave your words to describe differences

If I understand correctly you think you have 2 old dashes the one you removed from your car and the one you got from another car and fitted to your car.

One is different to the other 3 studs v 4 studs may I suggest the 3 stud version is not as old as you may think

Bump. I took out the generic replacement dash photo as my newly installed dash was not a replacement but rather a used OEM dash removed from another 911 of an undetermined year.
