    THREAD REVIVAL.
    Has there been any more info or movement regarding reproduction of the Gas Tank Donut or Sombrero?

    have it all in the shelves material,molds,fabric,... but no time to move on with this...
    i would not wonder if someone else out there is working on this also

    This reminds me of the days when we used to use Stoddard 356 floor pans because we “had no other options”.
    That doesn’t necessarily make it acceptable.

    I would rather not do anything and patiently wait for an exquisite product than use something that looks “close” to an uninformed eye. (Don’t take that personally; it’s just an opinion. And we’re all free to express them.)

    Compare it to Scrogham’s which is the Gold Standard of sombreros. No comparison.
