    WTB: 1975 Recaro Sport Seats/parts

Looking to buy Recaro sport seats for a 1975 Carrera. I currently have some; however they have the wrong tilt release mechanism. Mind have a lever/hook and I'm looking for the version that has a round knob. I don't know if this is a situation where the part can simply be swapped but I haven't found anywhere that sells the appropriate hardware either. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Think you car swap the hook with the round.
Maybe a vw part. There was a reference to this on a lime green 2.7mfi resto thread on the impact bumpers site years back in early carrera section.

That's not the right part... it doesn't have the grooves cut for the surround...

The correct part number is PCG88163300 - it is available at the bird or other Porsche places

You're welcome! I needed them for my 1974 2.7 Carrera, and it took a while to find them as the original part number is a VW part number and is NLA...

Yours looks great! I wonder how many lichtgrun colour code 253 carreras there are?
