Noit really an update, but the last EASY meeting I attended in September of '17 was also the last time I saw this beautiful, honest RS out & about, and had an opportunity to chat with the car's owner, one of the delightful & interesting people I met in the entire PORSCHE community of northern California - seems like it all happened so very long ago.

How I miss the first Saturday of the month morning meeting at Braezeales's old emporium........................!

Hey John, good to hear from you! I trust you are enjoying life in the Sawtooths! When are you going to make a guest appearance? I see "the car formerly known as Ruprecht" regularly; it's in good hands and being used as you intended!

Jeff, I just now saw your postings. THANKS for giving us so much insight and details. Lovely to see your RS and read the story. I know of at least one other long term San Francisco RS. I no longer am owned by one and thought I had moved on- but I'm still fascinated by so much about them- to say nothing of the driving experience. I hope you find the time to continue posting. Above all, it's a delight to know there are still guys out there ENJOYING USING these special machines. If you still got to "EASY" perhaps I'll get the chance to enjoy seeing it and you in person. I rarely drag myself out into public [Cranky Old Guy who mostly converses with "Say again?" and "I can't HEAR you"]. Again- thanks for a very enjoyable read.

Thanks John! I am still bringing the car to EASY and was at this month's gathering. But I didn't get up early enough, and ended up parking closer to Fantasy Junction...

It doesn't matter when you get to EASY. You will always get preferred parking right in front. I know a guy.
