Four 1969S available on eBay: 1/01/17

Does this number of 69Ss at one time strike anyone else as out of the ordinary?

The Black (291983235780) with the S Bumper is getting some strong bids as it is now up to $172,000. Might be a friends and family bidding plan. The other three have been available for most of 2016.

The market has softened.....for average condition cars and folks are trying to cash in. The black car is nice.....but $170K is very strong money without any description of an engine rebuild after 132K miles.

Makes no sense to me (candidly, I am wrong consistently)...... but all you need is two "gotta have it" buyers.....

I hate black cars, having owned many, and still own one....they seem to find me, I avoid buying them, yet I've always seemed to have at least one.....The Autokennel car keeps drawing me back, and my longing to have another 69S is growing....everything about this car http://autokennel.com/1969-porsche-911-s-coupe/ keeps calling my name, seems a bargain in today's market, or yesterday's.....and tomorrow's market will show what a strong value this car is.....I suppose. And with my dislike for black, it could always be brought back to its original burgundy paint. I've seen the car up-close, and it is even better in person.

Also like the AK car but IMO also priced a bit more than market as it has sat for months....

I have also seen that car up close and it looks great to me - puzzled why it hasn't sold, unless the color change really takes away from the value.
