    Dealer Description:

Porsche 911 Coupe 2.4T Ölklappe was originally delivered to Europe, this is a rarity!

In the 60 and 70 went clear three-quarters of the production to America. This 911 has no injection because it is a European car. American T (E) did have an injection system to meet requirements on emissions. Porsche from 72 with carburetors is what we are concerned, purer and more classic.

We've let inject 911 T complete again, the exterior is in very nice condition. The interior has been overhauled and refurbished. Both cosmethische(?) as the technical condition is absolutely fine. The engine and gearbox have been completely overhauled. It was decided to install new pistons during the overhaul.

There has been considerable investment in the car, these are naturally present invoices.

The engine is a 2.2T with number 6103548.

    Auction Description:

    - Accompanied by Porsche Certificate of Authenticity
    - Fresh, Photo-Documented, Rotisserie Restoration
    - Finished in Iconic Gulf Blue over Black and Pepita Upholstery
    - Numbers-Matching Engine and Gearbox per Porsche COA
    - Longtime California Car; One Owner from 1977 to 2011

Sold new in 1973 by Vasek Polak Porsche to Paul Clack, this US-specification 911 T was purchased on November 1, 1977, by its second owner, Betty Madden, a young costume designer at Paramount Studios. Ms. Madden retained the 911 for the next 34 years before selling it in late 2011, at which time she provided purchase documents, service receipts, and a very personal letter describing her adventures with this beloved Porsche. The new owner commissioned a concours-level rotisserie restoration, documented with photos. Original sheet metal was retained, and the 911 T was finished in iconic Gulf Blue over Black and Pepita upholstery.

As offered, the 911 T is exceptional, and a true benchmark of quality. Notable features include correct Carello fog lamps, Blaupunkt Frankfurt radio, date-stamped Fuchs alloy wheels, and California emissions window decal. Outstanding additional items include the original owner’s manual and vinyl sleeve, concours-quality tool kit, jack and spare assembly, service receipts, restoration photographs, a corresponding Certificate of Authenticity from Porsche, custom Italian luggage, a Porsche Classic detail bag, and luggage straps. It was a winner at the July 2016 PCA Concours in Houston and was displayed at the November 2016 TejasTreffen. This stellar, final- year example of the classic “long hood” 911 is ideally suited for the true Porsche enthusiast in search of one of the finest examples of the 911 T presently available.

If the owner didn't take the $135,000 in Monterey it'll be interesting to see what he'll get in Scottsdale. I'm betting he'll start to regret not taking the $135,000.

Beautiful resto and Gulf Blue to boot but expecting 175+?

I would be ecstatic to to get $110 for my fully restored, sport seat equipped 70T coupe.

What's with guys NOT changing color on their Sepia Brown cars?

BTW: Where are all the Sepianista and the new Porsches? Since it's such a FANTASTIC color you would think at least ONE brownthusiast would order a new 911 in Sepia "Paint to Sample".

Or would it be Paint to Stool Sample?
