PPI: In or near Midland, Texas

    Hi All,

I am interested in buying a car in Midland, Texas: Are there any Porsche specialists you could recommend for a PPI?

If in the end I don't find a shop local enough to carry out a PPI, perhaps there would be a forum member somewhere close who would be willing to just eyeball a car for me?

    Thanks!

You might ask the seller where he has the car serviced, or any shops he knows of. I understand the desire to not have the shop that does the work on the car doing a PPI, but it may be all there is close. I know some in Minland do use Mayo's as well as some in Lubbock.

Thanks for the reply. I will of course ask. I believe he may have used someone in Ft Worth when he had a transmission issue: is there anyone in Ft Worth other than Zims?

Both Zim's and Mayo are in the mid-cities, Zim's just north of Mayo's. There are a few shops in Ft Worth; Jim Buckley, Istook's, Rich Lambert.

Thanks everyone for your community support, and the PMs.

Does anyone have the contact details for Rich Lambert? I can't find him via Google...

Rich has previously worked on the car I am looking at.

    Thanks!
