'. . . This is a 911 that you can't help but smile when you see it. Classic in silver over black with the bright brushed Targa bar and polished Fuchs wheels, this high powered S turns heads and wins nodding approvals from casual fans and hardcore Porschephiles alike. 52,000 documented miles Original engine and transaxle No rust ever California car Highly original An early Targa with great appeal This one is currently in our private collection but call and ask . . .'

So car get sold from one dealer to another and all of sudden mileage goes from 152K to 52K "documented"?
I have info on this car that was sent from Dean at Aventura Motors back from Sept of 2014.
Let me know and be glad to share with anyone who is looking into this 911S.

The ask is $200k- I'm surprised at all the expensive S targa's currently on market, seems like pricing has caught up with coupes.

Maybe another consequence of the run up in prices. You could spin it like this...
If you want an all weather, daily driver or a ragged edge track car, buy a coupe. But with the spike in values, there are not as many guys out there now who want 200k plus daily drivers or classic cars as Armco fodder. So if you are doing fine weather only road driving, why wouldn't you want to be able to take the lid off?
It's a personal thing, but with the roof stowed and the sun shining, I think the targa is a thing of beauty. Happy to buy the rarer car, more expensive when new, at a discount while it lasts.
