    Here is the second one:

He mentions a 15 page Webasto manual, but I could not find it on the Samba. Is this a separate repair manual or is the same info in the workshop manuals???

The LWB diagram does not show the on/off switch or placement. My Italian '73S came with the aux heater switch installed with a small pigtail/harness. When on, the red light on the left side of the ventilation console should light up. The switch is on the lower dash to the right of the steering wheel exactly as shown in the Italian drivers manual. In the manual also is a paragraph or two on the aux heater and its operation. It is not on my COA, but is clearly a proper installation maybe at the dealer.

That's the best pdf I've seen in a long time !!!!! There is no way in hell I could have / would have attempted to decipher the Ebersbacher heaters without the original manual !!!!

    Hi Mike,
For dummies like me, video is always better!

Thanks for the link Bill! Even if this manual is for VW, I guess much of is useful if the guy in the video restored his webasto only using this.

    Impressive work Franz...

Unfortunately these two 'webasto' videos are no longer available on youtube - does any kind person have a copy they can upload or email?

    Thx

My unit in the process of being installed, all decals and ink stamps redone. Biggest issue is that the cloth fuel line is NLA in the original large OD. I made the small lines for the Solex cars but not sure if I want to go as far to also make these. This will be my wife's summer driver
