I have 2 original '73T MFI engines, one is 5R/7R, the other is 7R on both sides.
I'll look at the numbers tomorrow and post them so davep can update/ad them to his list

I have acquired an engine that definately has a 7R case, both halves, but is from a 73USA T/E chassis 9113110725 so one of the last of the MFI cars
before the change to CIS injection. Internals are 911/51.
    Hi Clyde,
My 911T #1080 11/72 build is a MFI car (6131637 911/51). I think there were about 1200 (I've seen the number 1252) MFI's before the CIS (about Jan?).
That IS where the small bore 7R cases come from.....
It would be interesting to see the date/number cut off...
Sounds like jrbennett's 5R/7R may be in the area....
Please post the engine number if you can...
    H

I have the following '73T engines:

    5R/7R 6139105 911/61 MFI/Sporto, original to VIN 9113100960, 11/72 production

7R/7R 6131771 911/51 MFI, original VIN unknown, currently in 9113501866

And I know of these '73 engines:

    7R/7R 6139392 911/96 CIS/Sporto, original to VIN 9113111486, 02/73 production, trans 925/00 7630449

    7R/7R 6239190 911/62 MFI/Sporto, original to VIN 9113210560, 02/73 production

There is no makers mark above the casting number on left side of 6131771 case, this is one of the very few or possibly the only one I've seen like this
