Thread: Techno Classica Essen

Yes, great event as always, will post some souvenir in the "automobilia" thread.
But not happy to hear that Retro Classic Stuttgart was a flop, hope next year they put at least 4 weeks between the two events.

I met Gytis and could drop off his seat at the hotel, even the Messe was a bit more than for free as I found (only one, otherwise I would have kept it) a 906 Geze Clamp in Hall 4 and as Russel didn't want to trade for a 964 Suitcase I sold it in Hall 2 again - made my day. So you can even find something very rare on Saturday in Essen and have a bargain to bring home.

    Cheers

Uli , was great meeting you. Thanks for dragging seat al the way up to Essen. Now it is safely at home, still shrinkwraped.

What a weekend. Essen -> Cologne -> Nürburgring -> Essen.......
Will post photos and some later . Jetlag is kicking in.

    Traveling

    Uh-oh . . .

That dusky black Speedie in the backround? . . . with the dull baby moons, funky mirror, and Glaspar top? . . . looks like Bob Campbell's Old Ride made it across The Pond . . .

Yup, confirmed.... it's a pretty unique car and easily identifiable. The barn find coupe in front of it in the pic was priceless, drew more crowds than most restored cars next to it.
