    "1973 Porsche Carrera RS 2.7 #1225

1225th of 1580 examples completed. The 225th car of the series three production batch.

This was a normal "M472" or "Touring" model.

Sold for new for West German domestic road use and delivered new (UN-waxed) with Road Registration. Completed in May of 1973.

    The Facts:

    Chassis No. 9113601225

    Engine No. 6631188

    Matching numbers.

The car was originally built like this:

    Year 1973

    Make Porsche

    Model 911 Carrera RS 2.7

    Type M472 Touring

    Chassis 911 360 1225

    Engine 663 1188

    Engine Type 911/83

    G-box 783 1183

    Gearbox Type 915

Color 222516 (Grand Prix White Red Carrera Graphics)

    Interior black

This car was factory built with option codes:

M409 Sport Seats left and right.

M419 Retractable seat-belts left and right..........now has full harness left and right

M440 Retractable antenna left and loudspeaker.

Now it has RS light weight door panels

    Light weight rear bumper

    Light weight trim

Full harness seat belts left and right

    7 & 8 X 15 Factory alloys rims

Speedo KM reads 6983 That is 106983 KMs converted to miles is 67400 miles. This RS runs and handles great with

only a few small details in the paint. This RS is priced to sell and has all the original numbers and original hard to find parts. Engine and gearbox are stong. Syncros are great. Suspension is tight. Car has been repainted its original color as some point in its life. Drives great at highway speeds and around town.

This car has spent a large portion of its life in Japan which is one reason for the low mileage. Always appreciating and exciting to own and drive!"
