I don't see any yellow bleeding through from scratches, etc so I believe mine is black through and through.

    Gled, Interesting history.

My 1973.5 is a 6/73 build and I see bits of yellow on the scratches on my shroud.

The fan shroud thread shows some CIS T’s with yellow shrouds, earlier ones probably would then been painted black. I would have thought by 6/73 all shrouds would be pigmented black.

Received my 15x6 Group 4 wheels today....finished in anthracite.
Chose this color over the standard silver for a different look.
Mounted up an existing 205/55R15 tire I have to check on the fit and it looks great.
The rear is shown with a 10mm spacer on the back.

Jonathan with Group 4 was great to work with, excellent communication and very quick execution
and delivery of my special order.
About a week for delivery from Europe including getting through US customs.

Instead of going with the Pirelli CN36, I ordered a set of Vredestein Sprint + in 205/55ZR15 sizes.

Advertised as "The Sprint + is Vredestein's Grand Touring Summer tire developed for drivers of classic automobiles requiring vintage sizing, built with modern technology and performance engineering."

It's period looking to me with a bit more contact patch than the 185/70 CN36's.
    Mostly a summer tire.
Won't be driving on it below freezing weather.

Got one of John Audette's LED headlights installed tonight.
On the other side, the headlight bucket is a bit tweaked so I'll work on that tomorrow.
Looks great and a big improvement over the sugar scoops (that will be staying with the car).

One of the fun things with this 1973 is the VIN that ends in….
