Went to Gassman Automotive, the long way on some great roads in the Shenandoah Valley and drove this. A HOOT! Handled like it was on rails. Ex-autocross. Built from the ground up. Could use paint but Mike and I were in agreement that it should be left as is. Blue Ridge Parkway "Sleeper".

I drove my '69 911 home from the mechanic's, after paying a bill that was quite a bit larger than expected. Oh well, it's only money. But it is about 100 degrees in the shade, except there isn't any shade, so for the moment I'll put the '69 away in favor of the '14 911 TurboS, with its water-cooled-powered air conditioning!
