    What Version of Solex for a 12/64 911

    I am looking to find out what would be the correct version of Solex for a early 12/64 build date '64 911.
    I understand there were .00, .01, .02 and .03
    I have a manifold with a part # 901.108.312.02 (right side)
    Carbureter part# 901.108.103.00 (right side)
    Hoping one of the 232 members might chime in on this.
    Thanks and looking forward to comments.
    PS also any thoughts on correct air cleaner?

    Hi Frank,

    Engine 900180 has a mixed bag in terms of manifolds:

    901.108.311.02 (driver side) and a 901.108.312.00 (passenger side). Maybe around engine 80 Porsche was running out of .00 passenger side manifolds? But that is only one datapoint, so not sure!

    Here is interesting data on the early style air cleaner, the 80mm version:
