1971 koni S caliper strut dismantle tool

    Hi Everyone,

I'd like to dismantle my S caliper Koni struts for sandblasting, repainting and replacement of the shock insert.

I could locate a tool for the bilstein struts but have been unsuccessful in finding a tool for the Koni struts.

Any hint as to where I could get one or any trick how to do it without the specific tool without damaging the strut ?

    Many thanks for your help,

    Philippe

Pipe wrench. Use a new gland nut for reinstall.
A part isn't purchased until paid.
