    Head light lens protection

Many moons ago, Automotion used to sell a thick piece of vinyl cut to the dimensions of an H series of headlight......They no longer sell this part. Does anyone know where you can buy clear vinyl headlight protection? For reference, the Automotion vinyl was approx. 3 mil thick...or maybe even just a sheet 3 mil clear vinyl....that could be cut for this purpose

    Thx

Great question - a fellow enthusiast told me about these vinyl pieces a couple years back but I have never been able to locate any despite lots of Googling. Might be possible to cut your own but perhaps others know a source?

I have mine covered in 3M clear. The stuff they clear wrap cars with. It keeps the sand blast off. A big rock? It just wasn't my day.
I have it pealed of every 3 or 4 years and reapplied. They look like new again.

Try Lamin-X. Used it for years on my VW lights. Will fog over like regular headlights and need to be cleaned. God knows every car finish restorer makes a product for that.
