Actually, I don't believe there was a cover for the engine fuses in 72/73. The big plastic cover with the two knurled knobs over the whole rear console was all that was provided. I think I asked about this once in my build thread.

Yes and that was stuck on the inside of the plastic cover but suspect it didn't stay there for long as only ever seen one original which is what my copy was made from

I have wingnuts. We had the discussion on the board during by build. But the consensus was there would be no cover on the 3 fuse holder back there if I recall.
