    VIN Question 1973 911 T

Interested in purchasing a 1973 911 T. Seller provided picture of B-pillar decal of resprayed vehicle. Requested picture of drivers side A-pillar vin tag to confirm A and B are the same. Any additional suggestions besides setting up a PPI would be greatly appreciated.

In advance, that’s for your help.

There are three official VINs on the car. A pillar tag, front hood latch panel VIN plate and the chassis VIN stamp just above the gas tank to the left.

Only other suggestion except finding a reputable shop for a ppi is to ask how much maintenance documentation the seller can provide and any owner number history.
