I do not use social media, but recently joined Instagram (during COVID) and have enjoyed it as another outlet for my Porsche hobby. I stay pretty narrowly focused on Porsche subject matter, though (occasionally sprinkling in my appreciation for music on vinyl). In fact, I have used Instagram for communicating with local repair shops/experts.
I follow ESR.

As Bill above - I recently joined Instagram and have stayed focused on car subject matter. My only other online interaction is through DDK or ESR.
I too follow ESR.

Like some of the others here, I've intentionally stayed away from Instagram for various reasons, however finally took the plunge just over a couple years ago to share my passions for cars and motorcycles. Of all the social media platforms out there, I feel Instagram has been able to keep my feed with people and tags I choose to follow. Best part has been the interactions with people all over the world with shared passions.
It was nice to see that I'm already following some of the ESR guys replying to this thread...

My only recommendation for management of the ESR Instagram account is to make sure you give photo credit for anything not your original work. It's uncool to see one of your photos or a buddy's and not see any credit given. When source is unknown, credit is given to unknown and you ask others to tag the owner.

Following since long. Good way to support the ESR.
And Kudos to your son, Peter. I like most of the posts there, especially when (many) pics of my car(s) are posted in
Am no social media either, but instagram is cool enough and do not get loads of "comments".
I follow many ESR members insta accounts already. Mine is ecurieclouzeau
