    More 2021 Concorso Italiano . . .

    . . . another WOW show, IMO --- if not for the numbers, then for the specifics . . . with some truly over-the-toppers, showing-up . . .

Anyway, did an AirBNB dealeo at the last minute, and got me bedroom to bunk in, in Salinas

    Early-ish start, tanked-up, did a less-than-usual Breakfast-of-late-Starters (no cherry pie = #$%@&!), then motored on

    Crowds felt down --- but, then/again . . .

    . . . I'm an Idiot

    More 2021 Concorso Italiano . . .

    . . . Fiat 850

    Talk about commitment

What would it take to keep something like this intact --- never mind looking this good . . . after all these years?

I mean --- just look at this thing . . . seems every single little piece of trim is still there

    More 2021 Concorso Italiano . . .

. . . I'm guessing this was the 'Need More Wheels' division?

The Piaggio is quirky-enough, I suppose . . . I mean, this Guy prolly waits all year for the chance to pull this thing out + share . . . and the Abarth sticker is a nice touch

    But that motorpsychle? --- drum brakes? . . . = kinda terrifying

    More 2021 Concorso Italiano . . .

    . . . Mini-Mini-van

No idea what this is --- and not sure I want to, BUT . . .

    . . . imagine one o' these --- in another 10-or-so years . . . with a Tesla hub-motor conversion

    !

Zero weight + lotsa room for batteries

    Boom-shaka-laka

    More 2021 Concorso Italiano . . .

    . . . another Abarth

I dunno --- hard to take something like this seriously . . . I mean, I've got kitchen appliances with bigger engines

    Then/again --- a lotta serious-looking hardware packed inside of a not-so-impressive package

Reminds me of Cecil racing Bugs Bunny

    More 2021 Concorso Italiano . . .

. . . the car I wanted the most to take home --- + why I go to car shows

Some kinda funky early '60s Abarth --- maybe Simca? . . . but looks more 'street' than 'race'

Kinda hard to see something like this, too. Looks like it needs absolutely everything. Middle-aged Owner scored when he bought the thing --- years, ago, now . . . but hasn't got the time/resources/motivation/dedication to do anything with it . . .

. . . except bring it out here
