    Correct Bob, #11870098 was completed on 11/17/67... the holes are present and appear to be body color. The original insulation is also visible, but my mistake: paint was removed from the bar.

    I do remember it being black underside though, and some is present on the passenger side in this photo. Makes sense that the exterior would be body color, but I'm honestly unsure now.

    Thank you Russ.... Bye the way .... you have the back seat delete. I thought that was a Soft Rear Window configuration...
    Is there any evidence that the brackets were removed and your car was converted to hard rear window.
    Sorry, I do not know if you said yours was Soft Window or Hard Window....

    According to the Kardex, optioned with hard window. We also had a '68 S Sportomatic with the same options. Restored in Yurrup, that car now features a "numbers matching" 901 gearbox and California history.
