    We'll, if you are correct, it would explain why I can't find that piece on my car.

    Looks like John has it covered, I know cheese head screws are used in the front of the top to bolt in the top latches, I will be pulling a spare 68 Top out of the garage attic later today, let me know what information I may be able to get for you, also have a 67 swt in the garage with the rear targa seal and cover removed. please note if you look at the Stoddard Targa parts page has the active parts dates screwed up, there are definitely early parts and later parts, not 67 - 85, some fit others not.
