I've been looking for the correct side bracket to mount the short trumpet horn for about 5 years. Recently I found that S Registry member Clyde Bowyer was having brackets manufactured to the factory specs. Thank you Clyde! They are perfect!

I finally got around to installing them, and this turned into one of those classic "as long as I'm in there" projects. Not that I'm complaining- these are for me some of my most rewarding times with the car. I always learn something new and I never fail to find some other things that should be fixed or refreshed.

So I ended up pulling off both fenders, redoing the paint in the wheel wells, and freshening the trombone cooler and lines.

I've seen and heard of a number of different horn configurations, but I've decided that this one is "correct". At least for me!
