His response via email was that his Paypal was dormant and would accept funds via wire transfer or Western Union money gram.

Here's a car a member tried to but dodged a bullet. This is a 1964 Irish Green 356SC Sunroof Coupe.
Bank caught it before the money went through. Turns out the chassis number was no good either.
BEWARE. It is a scam.

The person trying to scam on the Irish Green SR Coupe has morphed the old scam approach. He is placing Craigslist ads around the country for other cars. When you inquire he says" Sorry, I just sold it.... He does not offer you any other cars ..... until you ask if he has any other cars for sale, then he says "Well, I have an old 356, but I have not thought about selling it. Then you are and he are off to the races!
Yes, he gave the wrong name on a deposit transfer that a friend of mine tried to send to him (the bank kicked it back fortunately)
As expected, he says that he works in another state and on receipt of the wire, he will fly to where the car is and meet you....
After the wire kicked back, he gave a "friend's" pay pal address and did not want to take a cash deposit which my friend offered (via the fictional brother" who lives near where the scammer works....
I hope the Ebola does not morph as well as these scammers!
Anyone had any dealings with Justlooking? First post he wanted to trade my 69-71' fenders for 68' fenders. Asked a couple questions and then no response.
