The best way forward I think is to contact the Museum archives and see what information they have on your car.

From my research and the photographs illustrated above Siffert had another metallic green car with full options and beige interior, probably provided by the factory the year before (1970) as it was seen on the Le Mans filming set (and probably part of his Gulf contract as in 1971). These were used as personal cars by Siffert. The Siffert car specs were probably recorded at the factory.

Well done Karim for spotting the green highlights on Siffert racing cars, I never realized that.

    'Solar' Decal . . .

This image has been shown before . . . but this one's cleaner/clearer

Notice that there are 2 decals in the lower RH corner of the windshield

One is the '69 Weltmeister from Porsche

    And the Other? . . .

    . . . looks like 'Solar'

    Has a 'roof, too

    The Loaner

As part of another discussion --- about a 911T sold by Mr Siffert to Elga Andersen . . . an actress in 'Le Mans' . . .

    http://www.early911sregistry.org/for...er-911-1100804

. . . it was mentioned that Porsche supplied a 'small fleet of 911s and 914s to use during the film'

So, it occurred to me . . .

. . . what if the car in that iconic roadside shot --- w/ Mr Siffert casually sitting in a parked 911 . . .

    . . . wasn't his?

Seems that the one Siffert is sitting in, had electric windows.

Really neat that you've made those, haul! Not something that most people would recognize --- much-less appreciate

If you posted your Solar stickers in the 'For Sale' section, then I would think you could have quite a response

More 'McQueen' than the 'Le Mans' parking pass . . .

    . . . and where else would someone find/know about something like this . . .

. . . but on this site, eh?
