And does the current car owners have legal rights in claiming theses documentations? Great find BTW and agreed that they should be reunited with the chassis.

No. Owning a car gives you no right to the prior paperwork.

Wonderful documentation for McQueens's car- truly an important part of its provenance.

Is the McQueen car being auctioned off again along with this document? Or was this the previous auction?

So, after 25posts nobody knows who owns or sells this, or Heinz doesnt want to answer ?
Whats the point to show off but not share...do we need to pm him or are we just "dumb" spectactors, even this is the place someone wants to show us exclusively (t)his item ? Thx.

This lot is from auction yesterday, and Heinz (aka 67er911S) is claiming he was highest bidder.

    Auction estimate $8k-10k

And yes, I don't understand some of his mysterious posts either but am sure glad he does share what he does!

Sold for $8000... in the light of the prices other McQueen memorabilia commands, this looks like a steal...

I'm a little sick I wasn't aware of that auction. I would have loved to own those documents. Congratulations to the OP if he was indeed the high bidder.
