    CSL Italovanti

    This pic shows the same BMW Motorsport steering wheel manufactured by Italovanti for the CSL race cars (as well as other comp cars built by the Motorsport department) as shown early on in this thread.. However this example is pictured with the TUV safety pad intact. The pad is a press on fit on the spokes. Note horn pads on the thumb frogs at the 10 and 2 position.

    The story goes that after driving factory CSLs in IMSA for BMWNA, Peter Gregg liked these wheels so well that he continued to use them when he returned to racing Porsches.
