    What is your offset with the 7in steelies? 911R 49mm with spacers or another offset without spacers? I'm making a set of 6 and 7 15's and want to avoid spacers.
    The reason I went with 16's was I could find V and Z rated tires. The 912 POLO can exceed 130 without much trouble if there are no crosswinds.

    The 7s were built with a 34 mm offset. The fronts are 6s.

    I will point out, that for those seeking a high performance tire for classic 911s, there is a Pirelli P6000 N-spec (Porsche factory certified) tire available in 2 sizes: 195/65R15 and 215/60R15. These are W speed rated (168 mph) and a true high performance summer tire as apposed to most of the availble A/S offerings from other mfgs. Priced accordingly (not cheap)!
