    Just fixed this problem on a recently acquired car.

    My car had the correct thin head short thread bolts

    I removed the seat and loosened the runner under which the seat belt holder is trapped and removed seat belt holder (2 allen head bolts)

    I then loosened the recliner from just that side of the seat, only undid the part near the seat belt holder to disengage top of seat from bottom of seat without disengaging the cross bar

    I then reversed the bolt and tightened

    I then replaced the seat belt holder and re tightened everyhting underneath

    I then replaced recliner

    I then put seat back in and all good now
