    Auction Description:

    - Offered from The Iseli Collection
    - A well-preserved example of Porsche’s top-of-the-line sports car for 1970
    - Sold new in Bologna, Italy
    - Powered by a replacement 2.2-litre flat-six paired with a five-speed manual transaxle
    - Accompanied by a copy of its factory Kardex, owner’s manual with folio, and tool roll

The 911 S Coupé offered here was sold new in Bologna, Italy in June of 1970 and appears to have remained in Italy for much of its life. Most recently retained by The Iseli Collection in Switzerland, it is finished in green over a black interior and rides on Fuchs wheels, while retaining many period features such as its aluminium bonnet. At an unknown point in its history, the car’s original engine was swapped for a similar unit, thought to be from a 1971 911 S.

The car is offered for sale with copies of previous Italian documents, including registrations, title, and Historic Italian Automotoclub certificate, further to a copy of its factory Kardex data. Also included is the owner’s manual with plastic folio and a tool roll.

Well-preserved in an eye-catching colour, this 911 S Coupé is eminently desirable as Porsche’s top-of-the-line sports car for 1970.

    Dealer Description:

This 1967 Porsche 911S coupe was distributed through Porsche Cars Northwest of Beaverton, Oregon, and is said to have been delivered new to Westside Volkswagen/Porsche in Portland in September 1966. It was reportedly placed in storage by the original owner in 1971, where it remained until being acquired by the selling dealer in 2018. The car was purchased by the current owner later that year and subsequently underwent a mechanical refurbishment that involved overhauling the aluminum-case flat-six with 2.2-liter pistons and cylinders. Finished in Light Ivory over black upholstery, the car is equipped with a five-speed manual transaxle, Weber 40IDS 3C carburetors, SSI heat exchangers, 15×4.5″ Fuchs wheels, four-wheel ventilated disc brakes, Hella fog lights, a Talbot driver-side mirror, and a Webasto gas heater that has been disconnected. This 911S reportedly took second place in the preservation class at the 2023 Arizona Concours d'Elegance and is now offered on dealer consignment in Scottsdale, Arizona, with a copy of the Kardex, service records, Arizona Concours d'Elegance awards, and a clean Oregon title in the owner's name.
