Before the cars were staged in the display area Sunday, this guy was out, claiming the territory as his.

    More Phoenix Show, 2013 . . .

    Different Somethings . . .

    1) 928 GTS aka The Honker. Run-out version of Porsche's flagship. >400 HP, misc alloy body-bits, special big-butt rear flares. Last year cars ('95?) were pretty-much built-to-order. All special --- especially w/ the manual gear-box . . . and nobody cares

    . . . yet

    A Car to Buy Now

    2) + 3) I know-I know --- not a Longhood, but still . . .
Had to look twice, check-out the color . . . maybe not Everybody's First Choice --- but definitely different

Bonus question: Whose the Guy in the striped shirt, shoulder bag, hand in his pocket, walking in front of the Carrera?

I'd heard that he and The Infamous Jay-Ess et al jumped my buddy Jay The (License) Frame Guy at the Lit Show, Saturday

    Beck? . . .

A wee-bit more elaborate than your run-o'-the-mill Kit Kar. Glass body w/ what looks like metal skin-grafts riveted here-&-there? That's one way to save scuffing the gel-coat. Scary extra-horny hyper motor . . . Type IV? (As in Saturn). Stacks so big they poke through the rear clamshell. Note large/prominent/easy-to-reach FIRE PUSH button

    Yeah --- car runs a little rough. And, hey-uhh . . . anybody seen my hair-piece?

    1) I like blue. Merlin Olson frame on that Carrera

    2) I like yellow

    3) Mmmmm. tried to get some better pictures but too many tent-poles + people to get a good + clear shot. Not like You Guys've never seen a few hundred o' these, right?

    4) + 5) Twin Grill . . . . w/ Rudges. Wonder if he has a spare?
