All Users: Read this before you post

Please note and follow these rules below before you post in the Classified section:

    • All ads must state a price (links to eBay ads are allowed)
    • For ads with multiple items, each item must be priced - no price ranges
    • This section is for PARTS & LITERATURE
    • Negotiations can be done offline (PM, phone, E-mail, etc.)
    • Items without a stated price will be deleted
    • No pre-selling. When you're ready to sell, list your item and per the above bullet, always include a price.
    • Ads not pertaining Early 911 parts manufactured from 1965 to 1973 will be moved to an appropriate section
    • Components in "mixed" ads that do not comply will also be deleted
    • If you are unsure of the value of your part, please post an inquiry in General Info BEFORE posting your ad here
    • All parts ads will be closed following their fifth (5th) "bump"
    • Please use your own photos. Ads with misappropriated photos will be removed.
    • Sellers are requested to NOT delete the sales price once sold. Other users appreciate the pricing history.

    Thanks for your help!

Note: We recommend that you no longer use Photobucket for pictures that you post.

    John:

    Thanks for asking.

In general, a commercial post would be from someone representing an established "brick & mortar"/online business.

We have a standing practice to allow ads from small, specialty manufacturers that support our specialized group with limited runs of obsolete parts.

    Peter

There are sometimes grey areas but if you believe a post is of a commercial nature and you wish to challenge it, please let me know so I can investigate.

All items listed in the For Sale sections must include a price. If you are unsure of the value of your item, please post an inquiry in General Info BEFORE posting your ad here to assess a recommended price.

Does locking the thread after a few bumps actually do anything? One can just resist the item and start again fresh...

Correct...hopefully at a more palatable price point...reflects consensus of earlier commentary...
