started stripping out the interior. I was going to fire up my project thread again but I cant find my card reader for my camera, still packed I guess. some surface rust in the rear panel. scraped it all off, and will por-15 to reseal, looks like I caught it in time. the carpet was well insulated with home carpet pad. special. found some safety first installs as well. someone could have died.

I should have a major update here worth firing up the build thread again soon with some good content!

Picked up upholstery pieces from AIR. Very impressed with how they can work leather... as you can see by my workbench, I've been covering flat surfaces.

I did try covering the dash, and it looked okay, but wanted to try AIR, and they made it look spectacular.

Replaced the L & R window rubber "window scrapers". OK, no big deal right .... I forgot how hard it an be to slide those innocent little pieces or rubber into the chrome trim pieces at the top of the door and bottom of the glass!

Not much but today but did install my new license light the other day. It is an RSR style but mounted on top. Fits perfect and there is about a fingers width between the engine lid and the light.

Most weeks I drive for a few hours to work on the car with Markus Blaszak - a well known Porsche race car preparer in these parts. We are still in the reassembly phase. This week's work was installing the wiper, washer, and fire pull assemblies before we lay in the front glass. We also decided to pull both oil coolers to replace some oil fittings that seemed a bit suspect - and they were. Name: photo_what today_2.jpg

What I did with my 911 today...

I had the chance to hang out with Chris Roman in San Francisco today. Chris has amazing depth of knowledge on long hoods. He owns an RS thats been on the lawn at Quail/Pebble Beach and a 71E he's owned for 40 years! Chris has other P cars in the 356 genre. He is such a good guy. Hope you meet him one day.Name: DSC_0071.jpg
