    Ok, we realize you guys know a ton more than the rest of us weenies, but can you let us in on what you see wrong. I assume it is the chassis number, because it does not match what I can find in any of the few books I have. Thanks

    Sorry. The listing says 911. There is a 911 VIN plate. The engine number is 911. But what he calls the "chassis number" is for a 912. One suspects he doesn't know he has a Frankenstein car.

    So the 911 VIN tag is 303595 and the chassis is 453660, a 912 VIN. The shot of the front trunk shows the latch panel as the early style before the VIN tag moved up there, and the 911 tag would have been located there by that VIN. Sort of proves the body is a 912 based primarily on the chassis #.
    905760 is not a valid engine #; nothing between 901/01 serial 903910 and 901/05 serial 907001.
