FS: Original 1973 Carrera RS engine

Back about three months ago, I started a thread about the current value of an original RS engine. That thread can be found here:

    http://www.early911sregistry.org/for...riginal+engine

I've since decided to sell the engine. The asking price is $20k and I would prefer to sell it in the US. I've posted a couple photos below. Anybody with a serious interest in it can contact me via phone or email (details below) for more information.

    Thanks,
    Jeff

As the current owner of CHASSIS # 1248, missing it's original case (6631218), I cannot tell you how tempting it is to obtain ENGINE #6631248

You know, I thought about you when I decided to sell the engine. After looking at photos of your car, I can't see how it would be worth it to you, as the one that you have looks like it works just fine. Still, the numbers thing is interesting...

    Cheers,
    Jeff
