Eric (AKA "NeunElfer") continues to amaze me ! What a guy...an amazing source of Porsche brake info. AND his products are absolutely the best. Thanks Eric.
apart from the gussets, is there any way to date code 67/68S front calipers?

Tom, those pictures on page one are what I'd like you to look for when core hunting. This will guarantee a 67-68 core.

for my 1969T, i am converting it to 1969S brakes.
The front struts need to be changed to accept the aluminum callipers.
What would need to be changed on the rear to convert to the 69 calliper for vented rear discs?

A 1969 car has a different caliper on the rear and a different rotor to a SWB car.
The rear is an M Type with a 38mm diameter piston, mounting centres are 3" and they would be identical in fitting from 1969 until the introduction of the 42mm piston caliper used on the 3.2 Carrera.
The 1969 T would have used solid discs both front and rear and all other models would have used a ventilated rotor and a caliper with the appropriate spacers to make them wider.
