That is one hell of a wing. Must be at least 8 feet high.

As for the driving school - very cool. I've always wanted to take one of those through the Audi quattro club to Germany and also heard about the Michelin school in Steamboat, CO.

Interesting, I used to run screws when I ran. We did not have Menard availability back then. You could run dot studs or screws through from the inside.

If you ran studs you could run as many as the tire had pockets for, they would come flying out though after a very short period of time. One way to get them to stay would be to drive on pavement for about a 1/2 hour and it would wiggle the stud in the pocket and open the area where the t shaped stud base fits in the stud which would then hold them in better.

With the screws we were required to run them through from the inside and we could only have 3/16" protrusion and only 18 per foot. Obviously keeping air in the tire was a bit of a trick, some used the green slime stuff with success and some of us used tubes with a special liner. I was a tube/liner guy.

It was fun, and I learned a lot of stuff, though most of it was just car control and throttle and brake finesse. It changed my driving quite a bit.(for the better)
