Thread: U west coast guys don't know 'bout it

    John:

I did the same and came home feeling great. I took two different cars out for a long blast and it was love all over again. Living in the NE does give us something to look forward to. Yes, like you, I was very pumped up.

Those are very cool shots. They look very Connecticut.

Glad I'm not out there all alone

And that cool spring air does give the car a bit of a boost.

Thought this winter would NEVER end....

But yesterday I put the official fork in it.
    - when I hooked up the battery and heard the that click it wasn't just the car that came back to life.

And then on the drive as the suspension and the engine gradually stretched, yawned and then started making increasingly happier sounds....

    And we're off.

Ranged a little farther today - all systems functioning well.
Got back home and popped in some new heavy duty front lid shocks...

    It was a good day.

    Hey Paul !

I saw you posted that you found a new car - was glad to see that.

Rt 1 is barely passable with the Bultaco Alpina but the back roads are surprisingly good.
Would be great to get in a run with you and the new [b]ride.

A couple more red cars and we could call it the "Really Red Rally" - Ha

I'm about done with the desert after all these years. It sure looks beautiful out that way. I'm so done I think I could sacrifice 5 months of driving the car. House swap anybody?

Looks nice John, I think you are actually ahead of us weather wise. I am really ready for some driving after that winter/spring, hope to see you sometime soon.
