    Not in the Desert Mike

Chris Pook, the original organizer of the LBGP, F-1, race, will try for the LonG Beach venue. The logistics are there and the city knows how to put this event on. The ocean front setting lends itself much more "sexy" than cactus @ 200MPH.

The wheels have already been put in motion. The underlying factor is same as before: getting the cars and equipment here to the Long Beach port w/o breaking the profits to zero.
