If CPR is asking that much, makes this one look like quite the bargain then.

    FS: 1970 911E Coupe - Bahia Red
    Owner: Tom Butler
    VIN: 9110200714
    Engine: - 6201702
    Trans: - 7108268

This 1970 911E has undergone a full professional restoration to concours condition and has accumulated 1,700 miles of shakedown driving. It is finished in the original Bahia Red color and retains its original engine and 911/01 5 speed gearbox. This car looks, drives & runs like brand new and is ready to be enjoyed as a national concours contender or weekend driver. The 8 year project included a full chassis and mechanical restoration with all components either refurbished or replaced with factory original parts or equivalent replacements. The chassis was restored to original condition by Automobile Associates of Canton, CT. Component restoration, mechanical work and reassembly was done by the current owner, a 35 year PCA member. The engine retains its original appearance but was upgraded to 2.5 liter long stroke configuration. The details of the restoration including extensive photos has been documented in these two threads on the Early 911S Registry and on Pelican Parts Technical forum.

    Dealer Description:

CPR Classic is delighted to offer this immaculate 1973 Porsche 911E Coupe which went through an every-nut-and-bolt, ground-up restoration to the highest standards. After a no-expense-spared restoration, this 911E presents today as a Concours grade example that has traveled just 1,100 miles since restoration.

CPR first acquired this example from the 2nd owner in 2018 from Hawaii. When the car arrived at CPR it was disassembled to the bare tub and stripped to metal by hand. The undressing of the body revealed a very solid foundation with no notable rust. Minor metal work was performed as needed and all panels were refit to factory tolerances. Following metalwork, the tub was moved to the paint shop where it was placed in heavy primer and then fully undercoated to factory standards. Following undercoating, the tub was primed and blocked extensively to ensure a laser straight finish, was painted in single-stage Viper Green Glasurit paint, and baked in our downdraft paint booth. The car was originally Silver.

When the tub exited the paint shop it was fully color sanded and buffed and then began the assembly process. Every single fixture for the car was either restored or replaced as necessary. The suspension was powder coated in the correct shade of black and all hardware was plated to correct finishes. 911S front brakes were added along with an S front bumper, S trim, and Koni shocks. The matching numbers 915 gearbox was fully overhauled with a stock gearset, and the matching engine was overhauled in-house and built to 2.45 modified 911S specifications. The engine now produces about 210hp.

The interior was completed by Autobahn Interiors in full leather. Sport seats were added with houndstooth inserts with green to tie in the exterior color. A 380mm RS steering wheel was installed with an early “hockey puck” horn button for added aesthetic. The car also received modern R134 air conditioning that works outstanding and provides excellent cooling.

The car completed restoration in June of 2021 and was delivered to its only owner since restoration in Northern California. The most recent owner used the car sparingly over their 1-year ownership and added about 800 miles. The car now shows just over 1,100 miles since restoration.

This 911E has received a restoration that is second to none in terms of the fit, finish, and mechanical performance the car provides. Every facet of the restoration was performed with immense care and attention to detail. The car will be offered with a 1 year, bumper-to-bumper warranty from CPR and will provide its next owner with a better-than-new driving and ownership experience. Don't miss this stunning Viper Green 911E Coupe.
