If I were investing in molds, I would copy the later generation wheel with the extra reinforcements around the spokes.

got it. Thanks for the clarification.
roadsterswap,
I believe there are at least three (maybe 4 ?) variations of 15x6 Porsche BC , early D-spoke mag. American Racing Equip. wheels (maybe 4 ?) .
The visual differances I notice just from eyeballing photos , are changes to to the center hole area and spokes. I do not know about offets. I see two center hole types & three spoke changes. There miight be bolt flange changes also , as the years progressed ?
Can you match this price ?

I have a set of 15x6 magnesium americans for sale and posted on pelican. You can go there for more photos or email me. This is a very nice set of 4 with no curbing. MINOR oxidation at inside area near hub which is common and non structural. $3500 obo and open to interesting options and trades for Porsche items. Thanks.

Sorry about this but the wheels sold and I had the tires dismounted and found out I had 1 5.5 in the mix. So now they are not sold and I am going back to vintage eng. to have the 6 and 7s made. So sorry to the interested parties. When the recast wheels are available I will let you know.
Thought I would ask the question here, rather than starting a new thread. I've got some 5.5 Magnesium 'Mericans that I want to mount up, do I need longer studs if I'm currently running steelies? I see that it's never been mentioned, but don't want to get to that point and realize that I do...
Thanks!
Eric
