    Paul.....

great stuff.....thnx! I was there myself....and was very bummed at the early car turnout and P car overall presence BUT

,,,,,,its a great event and w/ Lime Rock the week before its a nice way to end summer.

That black rs was a rhd for those who were not there......w/ sport seats, exhaust etc......Wheels were anodized/roughed by HW....and altho car had some paint work on some panels it was very concours overall.

I have a disc of 170 pics but my cd rom on my 7 yo mac is broke...any ideas? can I use an external cd rom?....I have no idea.......

oh....and if Im not mistaken.....that blue vette roadster...is one of FIVE Gran Sports!...built specifically to beat Carroll S., but then Chevy pulled the plug.

    Howdy,
Ya, an external would work. Feel free to add them here. Maybe next year we can meet there.

I'll try to post some pics later tonight, as I spotted a couple more interesting early cars around and about. This event stacks up very favouably against the historic's at Silverstone and the Nurburgring, and with the parade of race cars thru town plus the car show down there on Friday, this event is a must do. My first time there, and I'm already looking to secure accomodation for next year.

BTW the Black RS is mine, and it won it's class and the Best in Show award run by PCA on Sunday, and I put 800 smiles on the clock

    Howdy Nick,
I saw your black RS at Hershey a couple years ago (the time it got really hot after a very foggy morning if you recall) and must say it's a beauty. Hell, I missed pics of all sorts of cars...the TransAm's were a riot, the MG group run was a hoot as well. I saw that UOP Shadow run to the front on Sunday and then disappeared...looked like he blew a hose or something as juice was under his car back at the pits. There were a few beauties in the early car corral as well. Too many gorgeous cars and not enough memory in my camera!

Hey Paul - thanks for the photos! It's tough to get these midwest-east coast get-togethers going. It takes lots of planning and arm-twisting to get people to drive the long distances needed. But it can be done.

Hi Guys, What a blast. Great weather. It gets better every year. It is the largest vintage festival in the country. Great history at the Glen too (as you know). Nick's RS is very nice. Nick, I had the 1971 Tangerine E Targa. I don't race but the laps on the track were great fun. Opened it up a bit on the straights etc...Lotta late model stuff present too. Paul did you see that GT3RS? Already booked my room for next year. BMW is the featured marque.

Sorry I missed you at the track Paul, I kept my eye out for a silver Caravan with Canadian plates but it was a needle in a haystack.

    Question

I have to pick my vacation for next year in 2 weeks. Does anyone know the dates for this event next year?
    Thanks, Rich
