It is amazing how many owners these RS cars go through. We are at 256 pages of sales, many for the same cars.

They are great cars, but I drive to and from motoring events and living in the New Jersey the road traffic is always a challenge... I'm afraid my go to 911 for events will mostly be the '71 Targa.. great road manners and if damage did occur the least painful!

Two bolt fan strap and alu VIN plate on 1353 looks like a re-stamp, very close to original (see VIN plate on 1552) but the 3 and 5 looks different. Paint tag on both not original.
For sure a nice restoration done on 0115, only the later style kneepads would drive me crazy. Does not look like an original front spoiler and hard to see but the headlights look like H1's..

I’ve known this car and seen it bought and sold over the years and even done some maintenance on it … this old snap was taken by me I think in 1997 at an event at Althorp House.

According to my original Porsche Cars GB papers amkng my collection there was only one Jade Green 911 across all model variants sold by the sole concessionaire in model year 1973.

NickD … you might spot a certain black RHD RS lurking on the corner — back when it was in its delivery country where we drive on the left

PS Althorp House in Northamptonshire England is the family estate of the Spencer family and is where Diana Spencer the late Princess of Wales was buried in September of that same year.

Yep Mike. Not many first series 73 RS made with spec C16 EG RL (RHD) for us to keep track of .. one-off colours do help jog the memory … ha ha.

I recall seeing it before he had it when it was at a very well known race / specialist place near where I live.

Seem to recall it was in MW ownership at time of Althorp event - also many decades later I helped a dear pal deliver this RS back to current owner’s home after we had done some work on it. Heard a few things about it from my late pal

I take it you weren’t involved in fitting the flapper box tube connector clip
I have the correct one for the new owner if he wants it….. and you can tell him where it should be.

Was just in for routine service iirc. Would be to see if the condition report mentions things I picked up about it from my late pal.

Ugh. Paint tag overspray. The rivets exist. Just do it right, especially on a car like this.
