    Sandy, i'd be interested to know what do you figure a yearly track budget for a neat car like yours would be? say i wanted to do the same things you have done. about how much to build your car the way it is now and how much a year to keep it going well on the track? thanks for all your guys help

    Sandy, the wife wants to know the basic breakdown from someone who's been there like yourself our 10th anaversary is coming up and she wants to buy me a really cool early Porsche (914-6 would be 1st choice). i've got about 10K a year i was using for power boat racing to spend (with permission) . i'm already paying about $300 a month for the truck/trailor/storage. but i've no idea about how much the rest will cost for a five year campaign out there. please be honest and don't go low-end cause that may cut me short on the new ride she may buy me.

    sweetE, if it's early-911 you on my radar.

    i'd like to appologize for bothering you guys right now, your probably making last minute checks and changes to your race cars for WILLOW . when anyone has time, when you get back from the event, let me know abot costs. its best by banker see it here in black and white- she's supported me on the boat for years and thinks porsche cars are enen cooler.

    YOU GUYS BE SAFE and bring em home the way they came!!

    It was a GREAT day at the small track yesterday...

    Great weather, great friends, and great track time...

    My new Kumho 710's bought me a full half second better then my best time, and a little better then a full second averaging all the consistent laps yesterday against the same for the last two events.... I had a very good day ...

    I was pitted next to Sandy I and his new 914-3.2 hot rod and he had a good day as well finding the limits of his new toy...

    Some familiar faces turned out to visit ... Man, it makes it fun when friends come out to play...

    My friend and ex-pro racer Davey Jordan and his wife Norma came down from Running Springs to visit......... Davey started his racing career driving one of these in 1959 .... that was 8 years before he became the '67 C-Production champ in Vasek's first 911S...
