Thread: Spare tie down and Jack

Question Spare tie down and Jack

I bought my '67 without a spare or jack and am curious to know how the tire is tied down and where the factory jack goes. Does anyone have pictures of a "correct" trunk with a tied down spare and factory position for the jack and tools?

To the best of my knowledge, the only hold down is gravity. Owners manual pictures show the jack wedged against the front of the luggage compartment and the top edge of the spare.
