I came across this in my archives and couldn't resist. Early prototype development tail or P.O.S.? Yikes! But I have seen worse.

Here's another bad ducktail on what is being offered as a real 911R for serious money. Holy Crap!

I was thinking the same thing just the other day Chuck. When I do the long-hood backdate to my white driver, I thought that having the flat deck around might be a nice option. But, Rick C. needed a white deck for a project, so....
But, I really think the reduced lift at that end is a very good thing. Exspecially at speed! Plus, I really like the look that Randy W. has on one of his cars. Er, maybe it was the photography! Anyways, I'll keep the spoiler on it. Kind of a club thing.

I know what'cha mean Jens,
Before I switched deck lids I acquired all the hardware, emblems, latches, wiring, grill... all to have both compete... even have the license light wiring on spade disconnects.
But like you say...
Before the tail...
On the top end I realized my forearms were getting tired from holding on to the wheel so tight...
After the tail...
On that side of the speedo, me and the car are completely relaxed... That's the difference...
