    Question Anyone know these HE's?

    Triad?

    I havn't seen any in a while so I don't remember for sure. They might be Triad. The main problem was weight as was mentioned above.

    Gee, I don't know, they aren't any heavier than stock, they just use the bends for heat rather than include the straights. OK for SoCal where a little heat is needed in the winter and some for the MFI t-stat. I'll use them, just was curious where they might have come from.

    Zeke,

    Found them in an add from an 83 Pano. Here is the claim by the add:

    0-60 times reduced by full second!
    10-20 deg lower temp
    true equal length header system specifically designed for larger engine displacement. Not randon length design as the original factory
    thicker guage steel than stock and aluminized coating
    27 lbs lighter than stock

    yada yada yada...

    Oh yeah...only legal for track use in CA!

    I think they are compairing to the SC/Carrera set up. They seem to be designed for them.
