How to remove 911S badge from glove box door -

I am replacing the dash face trim and obviously need to remove the 911S badge on the glove compartment door to do this. I wanted to check with you guys to see if there is a special process for this as I do not want to hram the badge. I do not see anything from the back, so is it just glued in place?

By the way, what has Porsche been doing for the last 30 years?

Hmmm, to play it safe, maybe buy a door from a car that didn't carry the model designation there? If I'm not mistaken, that began in the 1972 model year.

I changed the dash badge recently, the badge has two prongs which were simply pushed into the material which covers the dash trim. If I remember rightly in 1972 the dash badge was removed.
