Angry Retractable seat belt problems in a 72T

Has anyone found a simple repair solution or update for the retracting seat belts? ...Perhaps installing a set out of a newer car?

The problem is that my drivers side seat belt doesn't retract well and the inertia lock is way too sensitive, it takes me many tries to get the belt out to latch it

One solution - you can order exactly what you need HERE.

The driver side reels are NLA from Porsche. Not a bad idea to repace 32 year old belts too.

I've had a set of the Peparts belts and receivers on one of my cars for about 9 months now and they've worked out very well.
